The cyclone-rated Extreme system is built to a different specification, and it is worth saying so plainly: it runs high-tensile 1.2mm 304 stainless steel with WedgeMax™ retention, tested to AS 1170.2 for windborne debris at up to 44 m/sec. That build is chosen for impact rather than for salt, so on an exposed coastal site the care schedule matters more on an Extreme screen, not less.

Darley supplies the ScreenGuard system to security fabricators around Australia rather than selling it flat-packed. That is not a distribution quirk — no two openings in an Australian house are the same size, and a security screen that is not fitted correctly is not a security screen.

So your local licensed ScreenGuard supplier measures the opening, manufactures the screen to it, and installs it. It is also why quotes come from them rather than from us: they are the ones who will be standing in your doorway with a tape measure.
