Terms and Conditions

By visiting or using any part of this site, you agree to these terms. That applies whether you simply read a page or send us a quote request. You are welcome to print or save a copy for your records.

If you use the site on behalf of a business or another person, you are agreeing to these terms for them as well as for yourself.

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when the site changes or the law changes. The version published on this page is the version that applies to your use of the site, and the last updated date on this page tells you when it last changed.

We will not contact you personally when the terms change, so please check this page from time to time. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

This site is an information site. It describes the ScreenGuard range of security doors, windows, patio enclosures and screening systems, shows completed projects, and lets you ask for a quote. You cannot buy a product, pay for anything or book an installation here, and we do not publish prices.

Darley Aluminium does not measure, quote or install ScreenGuard products. Quotes and installations come from ScreenGuard licensed suppliers, which are independent businesses. When you send a quote request, it comes to us first. We then pass your details to a ScreenGuard licensed supplier who covers your area, and that supplier contacts you directly. Where we do not yet have a supplier covering your postcode, we handle the routing ourselves.

This means that any quote, price, lead time, contract, workmanship or installation is a matter between you and the supplier, not between you and us. We are not a party to that contract, and we do not control what a supplier charges, promises or agrees with you.

• Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a promise about price, availability or timing.
• Product images, colours and finishes are shown as a guide only, and every ScreenGuard product is custom-made for the opening it is fitted to.
• Your ScreenGuard licensed supplier is responsible for measuring, quoting, supplying and installing your screens.
• If something a supplier tells you differs from what you have read here, ask the supplier to confirm it in their written quote, because their quote is the document that binds them.

The product pages describe the ScreenGuard range in general terms. Specifications, materials, standards, hardware and available options can change as products are improved, and not every option is available in every configuration or in every part of Australia.

Where a product page names an Australian Standard, that describes the tested system. Whether a particular installation meets a standard also depends on how and where the product is installed, which is the supplier's responsibility.

ScreenGuard products carry a warranty of 10 years from installation. The full warranty terms, including what is covered and what you need to do to make a claim, are set out in the warranty documentation supplied with your product by your ScreenGuard licensed supplier. That documentation is not published on this site.

Nothing on this page or elsewhere on this site changes those warranty terms, and nothing in them affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

You may read the site, print or download pages for your own personal or internal business use, and share links to it.

You must not do any of the following, and we may restrict or block access to the site if we reasonably believe you are doing any of them:

• Use the site for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful.
• Copy, republish, sell or license the site's content, or use it to build another product or service, without our written permission.
• Try to reach any part of the site, its servers or its systems that is not meant to be public.
• Interfere with the site or the network behind it, including by collecting data from it at a rate that degrades it for other people, or by introducing viruses or other harmful code.
• Use the quote form to send spam, false enquiries, or another person's details without their consent.
• Remove or obscure any copyright, trade mark or other notice on the site.

When you use the quote form we ask for your name, email address, phone number, suburb and postcode, the products you are interested in, and anything you would like to tell the supplier. You can also attach up to five photos or documents of the opening you want screened, as PDF, JPG, PNG or WEBP files.

Any files you attach travel with the notification email that your request generates, which reaches our own lead inbox. They are not sent directly to a supplier by the website.

Please give us accurate details, and only give us someone else's details if they have agreed. Only upload photos or documents that you are allowed to share. By uploading a file you confirm that you have the right to do so, and you allow us, and the ScreenGuard licensed supplier who takes on your quote, to use it to prepare and follow up your quote.

Sending a quote request does not create a contract, hold stock or reserve an installation date. A supplier may decline a job, and we may decline to pass on a request that appears to be spam or that is outside the areas our suppliers cover.

Any confirmation email you receive after submitting the form comes from ScreenGuard, not from a supplier. Your quote itself comes from the supplier.

What we do with the personal information you give us is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Everything on this site, including the text, photographs, drawings, video, page designs, logos and the underlying code, is owned by Darley Aluminium or by its licensors, and is protected by copyright and other laws. ScreenGuard, Darley Aluminium, and the product and system names used on this site are trade marks used by Darley Aluminium. Any third-party name or logo that appears on the site remains the property of its owner.

You may use the site in the ways described in "Using this site" above. Apart from that, you receive no right, licence or ownership in anything on the site, and you must not reproduce, adapt, publish or commercialise any part of it without our written permission.

If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright or trade mark, please contact us using the details at the end of these terms and tell us what the material is, where it appears on the site, and what right you say it infringes. We will look into it.

The site may link to websites we do not control, such as a licensed supplier's website, a standards or industry body, a social media page, or a document hosted elsewhere. We provide those links for convenience.

A link is not an endorsement. We are not responsible for the content, products, accuracy, security or privacy practices of any site we link to. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we suggest you read them.

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through this site, how we use it, and who we share it with, including the ScreenGuard licensed supplier who prepares your quote.

This site also uses cookies, browser storage and similar technologies to understand how visitors use it and to measure our advertising. That includes session recordings, in which anything you type into a form is masked, and a record of your quote submission — including the contact details you enter — in our analytics.

The notice bar on this site is information only. Closing it does not turn analytics off. Our analytics identifier is kept in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, so blocking or deleting cookies will not stop it, although most browsers let you clear stored site data. Our Privacy Policy sets out the detail.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which is Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), or under any other law, where doing so would be unlawful.

Where the law allows us to limit our liability rather than exclude it, our liability for services is limited, at our option, to supplying those services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.

This section applies despite anything else in these terms. If any other section is inconsistent with it, this section prevails.

We take care with the information on this site, but we publish it as general information about the ScreenGuard range. Subject to "Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law" above, we do not promise that everything on the site is accurate, complete or current, or that the site will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors or harmful code.

Product details, options, images and standards information may be out of date, or may not apply to your home. Before you rely on anything published here, confirm it with your ScreenGuard licensed supplier.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

Subject to "Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law" above, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business or revenue, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising out of your use of this site or your reliance on anything published on it.

We are also not liable for the acts or omissions of a ScreenGuard licensed supplier, including their quotes, pricing, workmanship and installation, or for the content of any website we link to. This does not affect any right or remedy you have against us under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and liability for fraud.

If you use this site in breach of these terms or in breach of the law, and a claim is made against us because of it, you agree to reimburse us for the reasonable loss, costs and damages we suffer as a direct result.

This applies only to the extent your act or omission caused the claim, and it does not apply to the extent that our own negligence or breach contributed to it.

If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest of the terms continue to apply.

If we do not enforce a right straight away, that does not mean we have given it up. Any waiver of a right under these terms must be in writing and signed by someone authorised by Darley Aluminium.

These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about your use of this site, and they replace any terms published on earlier versions of it.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and of the courts that hear appeals from them.

If you are a consumer in another Australian state or territory, this does not take away any right you have to bring a claim where you live, or any protection you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

For a warranty claim, contact your supplier in the first instance. This does not affect any right you have to claim directly against us under the Australian Consumer Law.
