Cleaning of Powdercoated Hardware
Most hardware used on security doors and windows screens have either a powdercoated or plated finish. While this presents a sleek and clean aesthetic – this type of hardware does need to be cleaned regularly.

Cleaning removes contaminants and pollutants from the surface of the hardware, improving its functionality and long-term performance. A gentle clean with a soft-bristled brush and mild detergent is all that’s required, followed by a rinse with fresh water.
